EventsI can come to your guild or shop and teach a workshop or give a trunk show. I have several different options available. There is a speaking/teaching fee, along with my travel expenses. If you are not in my area, consider coordinating my presentation with another shop or guild near you, and you can split the travel expenses. If I am in your area as a vendor for a show, you can also save on travel.
Trunk Show: 60 to 90 minutes -- $350
I show a large collection of quilts and designs with their stories and interesting info. A fun light-hearted presentation includes stories of how the quilts were made, and what inspired them. You will also get to hear about my mistakes and how I fixed them! This includes my pattern designs and some from my family quilt retreat RoundRobbin quits that are so fun to see. An informal and fun lecture with interaction and questions afterward. I also bring prizes!!
 I can teach any of my projects depending on the skills you would like to learn and the time available. Call for specific arrangements.
 Demo Lectures: Up to 1 hour -- $170
I can do a small lecture that teaches my applique method. This is a demo only, there is no hands-on classwork here. I will teach all the tips and tricks for making applique easy. This includes vines, inside points, circles, etc. I bring a few quilts that feature applique to show. This lecture is best for a small group, up to 20. |
